    Fisher Woman

Judas Ullulaq dominated sculpture production in the Kitikmeot region from the 1980s until his death in 1999. His flamboyant subjects are characterized by staring, inlaid eyes, flaring nostrils, and huge mouths. All of these characteristics can be found in Fisher Woman, which portray a strong and expressive emotion. This style is influenced by his talented nephew Karoo Ashevak.
