Markoosie Papigatok is a prolific sculptor based in Kinngait (Cape Dorset), NU. Using both hand and power tools, Papigatok is known for making smaller, more intimate sculptures with a whimsical flare. With pieces continuously being featured in international exhibitions, Papigatok’s carvings can also be found in public collections from Quebec City, QC, to Ottawa, ON, and beyond.
